Ode to Nutcracker

It's a week before Christmas and all through my house,
a feeling of panic ensues for me, not my spouse.
The stockings are hung by the chimney with care,
I wonder how I will keep them from being bare.
So dash away, dash away, off to the stores,
To the top of the list - why is this such a chore?
Then off to The Nutcracker stage door tonight,
I will escape into fairyland exiting with delight.
My girls are so merry, so delightful and quick,
In an instant I forgot all about St. Nick...
Merry Christmas to all and to all...
Hey! when is the next show?
Left to right: Anelise and Sasha

I am very impressed with your poem. The girls look very pretty. Congratulations to Marina! Does she know what she wants to study? Tell the girls hi for me!

Marina - what to study...that will be the challenge, choosing. I hope she explores for a year or two and then finds that one thing that brings out the passion in her.

I wish you could see the kids dance. This is such a big year for them. But at least you can see their lovely party girl dresses!

Merry Christmas all of you!! Congratulations, Marina! Since I'm a COUG through and through (I graduated from BYU and Chris is a Washington State University Cougar), I was thrilled when BYU trounced University of Utah at football not long ago. Hooray, Cougs!

What part did the girls have in the ballet? I have a student who was one of the girls at the party in the beginning of the Nutcracker.

Love You!
